Kennel Regnator operates in the countryside; our home town is a medium size commununity called Janakkala. Janakkala's population is 16 400 and it's located in the Southern part of Finland, about 50 miles North from our capital, Helsinki. Kennel Regnator is a small home kennel, in which all animals share the living quarters with us people. For us, the animal well-being is important and we follow strictly all regulations given in the animal protection law. Kennel Regnator's breeding is ethically and ecologically responsible. Katja has taken breeders basic course and sequel course. She got her Kennel name registered around year 2000. She has also taken variety of dog trainers courses in agility, obedience training, working dogs tests, character tests just to mention a few. Heikki instead concentrates in "other activities" (i.e. being a kennel boy/financier). Our small scale breeding is based on a hobby, careful selections and thorough ground work. In it's breeding, Kennel Regnator's main principle is to preserve the breed's original character and it's good health. Only after these things follows the looks and other things. And the breed's original purpose must not be forgetten, either. We prefer quality, not quantity. Our dogs are regularly vaccinated, dewormed and health inspected home dogs, members of our family. Even from the first weeks of their lives, our puppies grow up in the middle of our every day life and thus get used to it's sounds. And when they grow up a bit, they also get used to other people, cats and dogs as well. We hope, that our puppies find an active home, where they get a lot of action and are treated as a family members. These are our major criteria while selecting a new home for our puppies.
